ICETTES FIGURE SKATING TEAM
ISD 196
The Icettes - District 196 Figure Skating Team is a district-wide varsity sport in School District 196. The sport has been part of the high school co-curricular program since 1976 and includes skaters from Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, and Eastview High Schools as well as the School of Environmental Studies and ISD196 Middle Schools. The Icettes includes Varsity and Junior Varsity synchronized skating teams, as well as Varsity & JV Individuals. Team members also compete in smaller team and individual events representing the District 196 Icettes.
Team Production events incorporate all team members.
The Icettes season runs November through March. It includes various competitions and our Ice Show at the Apple Valley sports arena. Eligible skaters can earn a varsity letter from their school; more information on lettering criteria is available
at the pre-season parent information meeting.
